A New Symbol of Faith and Hope at Gethsemane Cemetery

Gethsemane Cemetery recently unveiled and blessed a new statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe, creating a beautiful space for prayer, remembrance, and reflection for families visiting the cemetery. The dedication brought together clergy, cemetery leaders, and members of the Catholic community to celebrate the importance of faith, culture, and compassionate ministry.

The addition of the statue reflects the meaningful role sacred spaces and cultural representation play in helping families feel comforted, welcomed, and connected during times of grief. It also serves as a reminder of the Church’s ongoing mission to accompany families with hope and dignity.
